COVID-19 Emergency Fund to 2019 Grantees.

This one-year planning grant will allow WLVT to explore launching a channel that is robust, local and community-centered, through implementing a survey and analysis of content creators in the region (primarily video content), including the barriers that keep media makers from creating longer form content.

Building on a successful inaugural Good Pitch Local–Philadelphia program in 2018, this two-year grant will support two subsequent rounds of Good Pitch Local Philadelphia, with the addition of a re-granting program to fund filmmakers and to provide focused facilitation of networking and collaborations among participants.

In support of ECBACC's Heruica publication, curriculum guide and documentary project exploring the memory and cultural history of the Black comics community.

The 2020 Community Voices grant will support “Just Love Stories,” a multimedia series that documents stories of love, justice, and culture that work towards social justice. Stories written by, as well as interviews of, community groups and individuals leading movements will be featured in a documentary web series titled “Just Love.”

This two-year general operating grant will go toward producing and distributing empathy-centered stories that prioritize BIPOC communities, cultural practices, and values.
