The 2020 Community Voices grant will support an intergenerational storytelling project aimed at preserving the oral traditional history of the African diaspora while facilitating communication and cultural exchange among young and elderly members of Philadelphia's African immigrant and refugee communities. In addition, the project will capture the stories and impact of COVID-19 on African immigrant frontline workers.

Through the 2021 Community Voices grant, FunTimes Magazine will raise awareness of COVID-19 vaccine safety and mitigate vaccine hesitancy through stories and feature articles, and virtual and live presentations, including question and answer sessions by collaborating diaspora physicians and medical personnel. The campaign will target Philadelphia and its five-county metropolitan area and engage the African and Caribbean immigrant communities through faith-based organizations by leveraging its decade-long relationships and social media outreach.

The 2021 Community Voices grant will support the creation of a multimedia room for community members to produce arts and culture reportage focused on Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) communities in the Philadelphia area.

With the 2021 Digital Equity grant, Madre Tierra will uplift and support Spanish-speaking women through digital literacy initiatives using informative, animated comics for tv and social media, as well as comics printed for newspapers and magazines.

For the “Philadelphia Archival Creators Fellowship” which will support three fellows in Philadelphia to document and share the stories of three distinct South Asian American populations: Bhutanese refugees in South Philadelphia, working-class Bangladeshi immigrants in West Philadelphia, and second and third generation Malayalee (from Kerala, India) Christian community members in Northeast Philadelphia. Recipient of the 2021 Community Voices Fund grant.

To provide adult education practitioners and administrators on-demand access to learning material that will support professional development, digital literacy skills and digital equity advocacy. Recipient of the 2021 Digital Equity Fund grant.

The 2020 film grant will support "Expanding Sanctuary" as the documentary tells the story of a Latinx immigrant community's successful journey to change immigration legislation and protect families.

The 2021 film grant will support "This Too Is Liberia," an immersive documentary that follows Liberian surfer Melvin Kabakole Jr. and his friends as they heal their traumatized communities in Liberia through surf therapy.

The 2021 film grant will support "Bravo, Burkina." A Burkinabé boy flees his village and lends his weaving talents to an old craftsman in Bologna, Italy. Despite his escape, he is unable to forget the warmth of Burkina Faso. Pursued by memories, he travels through time in hopes of regaining all he has lost.

The 2021 film grant will support Alx Through the Labyrinth. The film takes a dive into the Alice In Wonderland-like reality of contracting COVID-19; from the symptoms of vertigo to sensory loss and the labyrinth of seeking treatment.
