To support, mobilize, and amplify the voices of incarcerated people from the Philadelphia region and their families, and in so doing, advance decarceration.

To support residents of Philadelphia's Hunting Park community, a predominantly Latinx and African American neighborhood with one of the city's highest poverty rates, by engaging additional community members as contributors and editors for Impacto's Spanish-language publication.

For the "Voces de Oro" reporting project, including Spanish-language podcasts, a graphic novel, and a "Know Your Rights" video series for Puerto Rican and Dominican communities being pushed out of Kensington, Norris Square, and North Philly by gentrification.

To empower, educate, and inspire the Hispanic Community in the region by uplifting their stories and needs, in their native language, and by encouraging them to take action toward the manifestation of their dreams despite their current circumstances.

To support the Philly Movement Media Fellowship program for young, primarily Black and brown writers and communicators.

To create awareness of COVID vaccine safety and mitigate vaccine hesitancy through stories and feature articles, and virtual and live presentations, including question and answer sessions by collaborating diaspora physicians and medical personnel. The campaign will target Philadelphia and its five-county metropolitan area and engage the African and Caribbean immigrant communities through faith-based organizations by leveraging its decade-long relationships and social media outreach.

The 2020 Community Voices grant will support a series of online and youth-driven programming throughout the 2020-2021 school year. Youth Set The Stage will build a strong network of organizations working in youth media throughout Philadelphia, regularly engage youth media content creators and provide platforms to showcase and present the voices and current perspectives of these Philadelphia youth, creating an audiovisual capsule of the current moment. In the process of the year-long cross-collaborations, YSTS will build an accessible toolkit for instructors working with students remotely.
